Even though Manchester City goalkeeper Claudio Bravo has just turned 37, he still has a lot to talk about his future as a player. And with clubs such as Arsenal and Celtic being lined, that’s justified.

The Chilean international has spoken to his home country’s media in an interview with 24 Horas this week, and analysed his plans for the next few years.

One of the questions was about the rumours which have been linking him to the likes of Arsenal, Celtic and Galatasaray. And Bravo says he’s happy to be involved in the transfer gossip.

“Because you do things in a good way, your name gets liked to good places, good clubs,” Claudio Bravo told 24 Horas. “But we don’t lose focus, in that sense the only thing we are looking for is tranquillity, to be comfortable in one place.”

“It’s fulfilled me to come to England, that my four children develop speaking another language. If this continues and we have to continue here in England, for the good and health of all of us, we do. If I have to pack up to go somewhere else, we do it.”

The goalkeeper has also been asked about a possible return to Chilean side Colo Colo, where he’d likely earn less than at Celtic or Arsenal. He couldn’t promise he’s going back home, since there should be many options for him in the summer.

“It doesn’t depend on me, it depends on several factors: the club, the project. Colo Colo don’t even have a coach… I don’t close to play anywhere in the world. If I have to play for a team other than Colo Colo in Chile, I’ll do it.”

Claudio Bravo’s wife Carla was also involved in the interview, and instead of encouraging him to return to his old club, she’s revealed that she actually supports another Chilean side, and would like to see him playing for them.

“I’m of Universidad Católica. I always supported Claudio when he was at Colo Colo, but I’m of the ‘Cato’. If you ask me if I would like him to go to the Catolica, I’d be happy with life.”

Despite that, a stay in Europe is perhaps likelier, with the Chilean media fully believing that Arsenal, Celtic and Galatasaray are options.
