Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling has been offered to Chelsea, according to claims today.

The information is brought by Spanish outlet AS, who say the 27-year-old has been put on the table to several sides, with the Blues among them.

It’s said that Sterling considers his time at Manchester City to be over, and with the club also willing to sell him, that will allow him to leave for less than his market value.

Besides Chelsea, other clubs such as Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid have also been offered the player. AS only brings the stance from the Santiago Bernabeu side, claiming he does not fit with their plans, as they have too many options for wide positions.

Playing for Manchester City in the recently concluded domestic season, Sterling again had numbers, with 17 goals and nine assists in 47 appearances.

AS doesn’t seem to have any information on how much Chelsea and others would need to pay to take him this summer. With a contract running until 2023, he’s valued by Transfermarkt at €85m.
