Earlier on Tuesday, we covered an interview in France Football from Fabien Barthez where the former Manchester United goalkeeper slammed Joe Hart for basically being ‘too English’ in his style of play.

Well, the same magazine have a look at where this leaves Joe Hart in Pep Guardiola’s eyes, with the answer being away from the club.

France Football say Guardiola made it clear to Manchester City back in the spring that Hart didn’t fit the profile he was looking for in a goalkeeper, despite regarding him highly as a player overall.

The Spanish manager is looking for a more complete keeper, someone capable of excelling off his line as well as on it, and Joe Hart isn’t that man, as made clear by Fabien Barthez.

The two proposed profiles that have been widely covered already are Barcelona goalkeepers Claudio Bravo and Marc-André ter Stegen.

However, the French magazine understand that, according to their information, those in charge at Manchester City would prefer to keep Hart; one of the few players present since the beginning of their project.

Will the player’s performances at the Euros change their mind? And if it does, the question remains: who will take Joe Hart?
