It seems it won’t take long now until Manchester City have some new partners in South America.

According to a report from journalist André Hernan, the City Group are set to complete the purchase of Brazilian side Bahia.

On his Youtube channel, the reporter claims that both sides see the deal as done, as neither consider there’s any risk of the purchase collapsing. And it turns out that officials are set to land in Salvador in the coming days, to get everything completed.

The contract for the purchase is said to be ready, and according to Hernan’s sources, it will be signed in the next tend days.

Since he’s been receiving conflicting information regarding the money being spent by Manchester City’s owners to buy Bahia, the reporter chose not to mention any numbers in his story.

He just claims that the Brazilian club are set to first invest in their facilities, then make a few signings, and their new ambitions for titles won’t happen all of a sudden.

As previously reported by the local media, the City Group want to make Bahia the second biggest club in their portfolio, staying only behind Manchester City.
