Gabriel Jesus is back to Palmeiras. After visiting the club’s facilities during the weekend, it’s now reported that the player will spend a few days in São Paulo.

The player is still recovering from a broken fifth metatarsal, and according to Globo Esporte, a part of this treatment will be made at the player’s former club.

Manchester City officials have visited Palmeiras’ medical department, and after checking the conditions, they have authorised the player to spend a few days there. He’s still set to return to Manchester to finish the treatment.

Gabriel Jesus left Manchester a few days ago, and first went to New York City to take part of a club event alongside his teammate Ikay Gundogan.

The 19-year-old was injured in a Premier League game against Bournemouth on February 13th, and the club still haven’t set a return date for him. In a recent interview with SporTV, he revealed that he still hopes he can play a few games this season.
