Despite featuring far less for Bayern Munich this season, Kingsley Coman’s reputation in world football remains quite high.
So high, in fact, that Manchester City have already made a €50-60m bid for the player, according to TF1 in France.
The French television station reported the news on Monday morning on their website, suggesting that Pep Guardiola, who brought the player to Germany from Juventus last season, is keen to be reunited with the 20-year-old at the Etihad.
Already capped 11 times for France, Coman, who is still contracted to Juventus, is available to Bayern Munich for €20m this season until April 2017, which, you would think, means they have priority over him at this moment in time.
Of course, were the French forward to say no to extending his stay in Bavaria, then Manchester City would be free to negotiate with Coman and try and bring him to the Premier League.
TF1 explain the player feels good in Germany currently, but a move to England, especially to Pep Guardiola’s new club, could be too good to refuse considering his current situation under Ancelotti.
The former Juventus winger has only made 17 appearances for Bayern this season totalling 614 minutes, scoring two goals.
