Manchester City summer signing Oleksandr Zinchenko has travelled with PSV for their Champions League clash with Rostov tomorrow night. The youngster joined the Dutch side on loan in the last window, but has yet to make his debut for the club.
Voetbal Primeur have this morning reported Zinchenko is included in the 21-man squad for their second group stage match in Russia. Due to lacking match fitness the Ukraine international wasn’t involved in the league game with Excelsior at the weekend, but has made been included for the Champions League game.
It’s unlikely the Manchester City midfielder will start the game, although with the withdrawal of Bart Ramselaar with a thigh injury there’s a slight possibility he could be involved at some point.
Zinchenko joined Manchester City in the last window after having only one season with his former club Ufa. Despite his age the youngster has already represented his country 7 times, and was part of the squad for Euro 2016.
