Futbol Arena claim both Manchester City and Liverpool have enquired about Trabzonspor starlet Abdulkadir Omur via intermediaries.
The Turkish website report that along with the two Premier League clubs, AS Roma are also in the picture to sign him. It’s claimed Manchester City and Liverpool have asked about the size of transfer fee needed for the 19 year old.
Omur came through the ranks of Trabzonspor academy and has quickly become a key player for his club.The left-footed attacking midfielder, who can also operate as a winger, scored two goals during Trabzonspor’s latest win against Rizespor.
According to Futbol Arena, Trabzonspor are not prepared to let Omur go during the winter transfer window because the club are in a position to win the league.
It’s claimed Trabzonspor officials are demanding €30m from the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool for the highly rated youngster.
Nicknamed the ‘Turkish Messi’, the left-footed winger made the breakthrough last season with the Super Lig club. Omur is under contract with Trabzonspor until 2022.
