Manchester City are named as a suitor for RB Leipzig’s Christopher Nkunku.

The attacking midfielder came up through the ranks of Paris Saint-Germain’s youth system before leaving them for the Bundelsiga side in 2019. His performances for Leipzig haven’t gone unnoticed.

That’s according to Fichajes.net, who say PSG, City and Bayern Munich have their sights set on the 23-year-old.

He starred for his side by scoring a hat-trick in Leipzig’s 6-3 defeat against the Citizens in the Champions League last week.

PSG are in the market for a new midfielder next summer and Manchester United’s Paul Pogba is on their agenda. In the event they fail to sign the Red Devils star, they will look to sign their former player.

Apart from the Ligue 1 side, it’s said Manchester City and Bayern Munich ‘have also been interested’ in Jesse Marsch’s man.

In other words, the Premier League winners are likely to face competition from the two Euro giants for Nkunku. Other clubs have also been linked recently, and if he continues to progress then there could be a big transfer tussle ahead.
