AIK Solna’s young striker Alexander Isak, who has been dubbed the next ‘Zlatan Ibrahimovic’, has caught the attention of some of the biggest clubs in Europe.

The Swedish striker has been linked to the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United in the past, but latest claims in Sweden suggest other Premier League clubs are also keen on signing the 17-year-old.

According to Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet, Manchester City are in ‘concrete negotiations’ with AIK Solna to sign Isak, who has scored 10 goals in 24 league appearances this season.

However, the likes of Chelsea, Juventus, Real Madrid and Paris-Saint Germain are also reportedly in contact with the Swedish side and he’s not just a pep Guardiola target.

Aftonbladet say Manchester City, or one the other clubs named, could shortly enter into the final phase of negotiations, but it’s unclear at the moment if they’re leading the race to sign him.

It’s been reported Isak could leave AIK Solna for a ‘bulky transfer fee’, but it’s unlikely to be an issue for Manchester City should they genuinely be interested in signing him. A Ctiy scout this week told the Danish press that there’s also interest in Ajax’s Kasper Dolberg.
