With the summer transfer window getting closer (even if it is still somewhere in the distant horizon), Corriere dello Sport are revving the engines, getting everything ready for the big event in a few months.
One of the stories they refuse to let go is that of Manchester City being interested in Paulo Dybala, as the Argentine continues to struggle to find a regular spot in Max Allegri’s first-team in recent weeks, starting just two of the last seven league games.
Once indispensable, the 25-year-old could be sold in the summer, but it would take a lot of money.
The Italian newspaper believe a fee of €120m would be required to ‘sway’ Juventus, an amount Manchester City could afford if they so wished, having spent vast amounts of money on players in the past.
Pep Guardiola’s side are said to be ‘very attentive’ to the forward’s situation in Turin, with Corriere seemingly hinting that any sign of an opening would lead to them coming forward for talks.
We aren’t there yet, and it doesn’t appear as if anything will happen anytime soon, but with Real Madrid and Bayern Munich also hovering, Dybala could end up having a rather nice choice to make regarding his next club if a desire to leave emerges.
