The Sun have published an incredible number of transfer exclusives over the past week or so, one of them on Tuesday night concerning PSG.

Impressively knowing the inner workings of PSG, Arsenal, Manchester City and West Ham, The Sun claimed PSG have made Jese Rodriguez and Grzegorz Krychowiak available for transfer.

The Rodriguez claim was no surprise, given it’s been reported across Europe for around a month, so the Krychowiak claims have received more attention, filtering out across the European rumour mill.

Arsene Wenger has been credited with interest in Krychowiak for quite some time, so that slotted in place, and Pep Guardiola could well be looking at midfield additions, so that’s not too much of a stretch either.

However, if either Arsenal or Manchester City genuinely fancied their chances, they probably need to have another idea.

Krychowiak’s brother Krysztof has spoken to France’s FootMercato and rubbished the idea of an exit: “When Grzegorz chose PSG, he knew very well how difficult it was. He knew there were several players capable of playing his position so he was prepared to fight. Of course he wanted to play more matches, and now he is 100% focused on this fight.”

Still, there has been interest: “Some clubs I can’t name have called me to know the situation of Grzegorz. He wants to play. He wants to feel that PSG believes in him, and to fight for his place and do his job.”

So that’s that then. At least until the summer. If Krychowiak doesn’t get more game time then expect Manchester City, Arsenal and other clubs to be linked once again.
