Luton Town and Nottingham Forest are both in the race for Young Boys midfielder Cheikh Niasse, according to reports.

Italian outlet SportItalia today shares a short story just to claim that there’s currently a big competition to get the 23-year-old signed.

It’s said Luton Town and Nottingham Forest are two of the clubs who have ‘expressed interested’ in Niasse, along with the likes of Lyon, Cadiz, Girona, Wolfsburg and Eintracht Frankfurt.

Young Boys seem aware of the big attention their player has been drawing, and have already set a price for his sale. That’s said to be of between €10m and €15m.

Niasse started his career at French side Lille and arrived at the Swiss club on a €900k deal in 2022.

This season, among the 22 appearances he made for Young Boys, there are the six matches he played in the Champions League, which is probably where he drew so much attention from a long list of clubs.

For now, there’s no information on whether Luton Town and Nottingham Forest are preparing bids for his signing, as it seems the race is still in its early stages.
