Ditching Mino Raiola and replacing him with Federico Pastorello for the football side of his career, Romelu Lukaku also signed a deal with Roc Nation in America for all extra-curricular matters.
Over the summer, the player swapped Manchester United for Inter in a rather high profile and public transfer, and the striker has since enjoyed a good start, scoring two goals in his first two starts against Lecce and Cagliari.
Recent racism abuse aside, Lukaku seems delighted with his decision to exit Old Trafford, a move he says also went down well with a rather famous rapper.
Speaking to Rolling Stone Italia, relayed by FC Inter News: “After the move with Inter, Jay-Z (who founded Roc Nation) said he was very happy for me. (…) He helps me with everything that isn’t sport related, since I have my agent Federico Pastorello for that.
“Jay-Z does my marketing, and everything that helps me become a business man. We normally talk about life in general, he gives me advice on how I can improve off the pitch. He contributes a lot, and we’re happy to be a part of the Roc Nation Family”.
During his time at Manchester United, the striker scored 42 goals in 96 appearances, as well as assisting his teammates 13 times.
He is currently on international duty with Belgium, who will face San Marino and Scotland, where he will hope to find the back of the net a couple of times in order to break the 50-goal mark in less than 85 games.
