It appears that no matter what Piotr Zielinski says or does, he will never be able to get away from being linked with Liverpool.

Openly talking about wanting his future to be in Naples these past few days, the Polish midfielder hasn’t managed to put off the Reds, as Calciomercato on Friday maintain that he remains a target for Jürgen Klopp in the summer.

Liverpool ‘insist’ on the player, according to the claim.

Very close to moving to Anfield before his transfer to Napoli in 2016, the 24-year-old has incessantly been pushed towards finally securing his Premier League move by the media, with nothing ever happening.

While there’s no doubt the Poland international could bring something to the Reds’ first-team, any transfer would have to go through Aurelio de Laurentiis, who doesn’t appear prepared to let his stars go anytime soon.
