Yannick Bolasie’s arrival to Sporting is greeted by the Portuguese media with a lot of excitement this Tuesday.

The Lions only made the transfer happen on deadline day, and the local media are pretty glad the club managed to bring a Premier League player, along with the signing of Jesé Rodriguez from Paris Saint Germain.

Newspaper Record is the one with the biggest story about Bolasie. They’re the ones who report Sporting will have an option to buy the player for €4.5m from Everton at the end of the season.

They show some big expectation by saying Bolasie will be bringing ‘experience’ and ‘the Premier League DNA’ to the Lisbon club.

The picture of his overhead kick attempt against Crystal Palace leads them to say he’s ‘acrobatic’, recalling that ‘he’s given a spetacle in the Premier League’.

Maybe Bolasie’s time at Everton wasn’t only made of great moments, but we certainly understand the exciment from Sporting to be signing a player from Everton.
