Bryan Gil has spent much of the winter transfer window being linked with a return back to Spain.
There were brief claims about potential interest from France, but those were dwarfed as multiple La Liga sides were continually linked with the Tottenham Hotspur player.
All along it’s been considered that a move would be likeliest on loan.
That will partly be due to how much Spurs invested in the player when signing him from Sevilla, and also the potential that he could be useful for the London club in the future.
The 20-year-old is already a full Spain international, and has a contract with the Premier League side until 2026, so a loan makes sense for all involved.
Hector Gomez, a journalist close to Valencia, now reports there’s a ‘loan agreement’ between the Spanish side and their English counterparts.
Tottenham ‘have reached an agreement’ to loan the youngster to Valencia until June 30th, and now the paperwork and final details of the move will be sorted out.
