Even with Liverpool out of form this season as they struggle to break into the top four of the Premier League, Mohamed Salah has scored bags of goals.
The Egypt international has managed to find the back of the net 29 times in 46 appearances in all competitions, which is better than most players in his position.
However, there have been a mountain of rumours suggesting the Liverpool star could be looking for a new challenge, having won both the Champions League and the Premier League with the Anfield side, and there are some out there lurking in wait.
One of those, according to Le Parisien, are Paris Saint-Germain, with the forward described as the club’s ‘dream’.
This would only happen if Kylian Mbappé were to be sold, with the Liverpool star seen as the ‘plan B’.
They outright state Salah ‘wants to leave’, and he would ‘correspond perfectly’ to what Mauricio Pochettino wants his team to do on the pitch, meaning quick attacks, breaking lines and speed of execution.
Furthermore, the Liverpool man’s desire to defend hasn’t gone unnoticed, having mastered the art of pressing and counter-pressing under Jürgen Klopp.
Believed to be valued at around €80m, Salah is someone Paris Saint-Germain are seriously considering, and we’ll be keeping an eye on this space.
