Last week Jasper Cillessen turned up at Barcelona’s offices and that sent rumours into overdrive. The goalkeeper was supposed to be on holiday, isn’t injured, so there didn’t seem a great of reason for him to be there… other than if it was transfer related.

Thursday’s edition of Sport may have the reasoning behind the visit.

They state Cillessen has told Barcelona officials that, whilst he’s happy where he is, if an offer comes in that’s good for both club and player, he’d like them to act accordingly.

Liverpool are the club who have been linked the most to Cillessen, by some way, and Sport mention Jurgen Klopp’s club again today.

It’s stated there’s also interest from Arsenal, Chelsea, and Napoli.

Klopp is expected to sign a goalkeeper this summer, and Sport say Liverpool have ‘shown their interest’ in the player.

The Dutchman making it clear to his club that he’s considering a transfer can only be a boost for any Liverpool interest.
