Liverpool’s Divock Origi has struggled for minutes this season as the forward has made only one start and has two more appearances from the bench in all competitions.

On December 6th, we relayed news from Spain that Real Betis are interested in the 23-year-old as it was also suggested it’s time for him to succeed at another club.

The Belgium international’s contract at Anfield will run down in 2020 and Het Nieuwsblad claims the Merseyside club are ‘willing to cooperate’ for the former Lille man’s transfer in the winter market.

Reports in England have claimed that Schalke and Wolverhampton Wanderers are interested in the attacker.

The Belgian newspaper did get in touch with the player’s entourage to get an update on these rumours, but they have no plans to ‘confirm the interest’ from these two clubs.

It’s mentioned that Origi is open to the idea of a transfer in January because he hopes for a new challenge.
