On Tuesday, we’ve covered a story from Calcio Mercato saying that Roma were happy with Alisson’s performances in the World Cup, as they could increase the player’s price.
Now we see a similar information in the Brazilian media, as UOL claims that the demands have really gone up during the international tournament.
According to the website, Roma have now put Alisson’s price up to €100m, which would make him, by far, the most expensive goalkeeper ever. It’s certainly overpriced, Alisson has been in good form but for €100m a club could expect to get the world’s best goalkeeper, a bracket he’s probably not in yet.
UOL says that Real Madrid and Liverpool have both made approaches, but this new price will scare those who are interested.
Still, Alisson’s entourage is said to be confident that there will be an outcome soon after Brazil finish their World Cup campaign.
The report says that Alisson’s preference is Real Madrid, and his entourage thinks the same. Even a stay at Roma is mentioned in the story, but the chances of a transfer to Liverpool, or even Chelsea, are ignored.
