Liverpool’s interest in Torino defender Gleison Bremer continues to be reported by the Italian media, and new updates today say this transfer could even happen sooner than expected.
Outlet Torino Granata writes that among the many clubs who’ve been chasing the 24-year-old, there’s a ‘particular’ interest from the Reds, as Jurgen Klopp has been following him ‘for at least a year’.
Now it’s said the negotiations ‘could accelerate already in January’, as Liverpool are interested in having him for the second part of the season.
Regarding Bremer’s price, it’s said that Torino president Urbano Cairo has set the figures at €10m.
That’s the kind of rumour that in case it’s true, then we should bet on Liverpool’s chances of signing him, since the fee looks quite low, especially for the January market.
One of the reasons for such price is that his contract expires in 2023.
The Reds have been linked to Bremer since the summer, and with his form constantly highlighted by the Italian media, it indeed looks like his departure from Torino is just a matter of time.
