Back in July, we covered an article from FootMercato claiming that Stoke City, Southampton and Crystal Palace were ‘keeping tabs’ on Moussa Marega, FC Porto’s 25-year-old striker.

Sent on loan over the summer to Vitoria Guimarães, the goalscorer has been in an incredible vein of form, scoring 10 goals in his first eight games for the Portuguese club, as well as picking up two assists.

Such performances, regardless of who you play for, never go unnoticed, and the same FootMercato have another update on who is keeping an eye on the prolific striker.

According to the French website, six different Premier League teams have come to watch Moussa Marega: Stoke, Watford, Sunderland, Crystal Palace, Tottenham and Liverpool.

Certainly capable of fitting in straight away if he were to move to either of the first four, you can only assume a move to Tottenham or Liverpool would mean a substitute role, considering the form the duo are on with their current players.

Scoring a goal every 70 minutes so far in the Portuguese league, Marega was the only scorer in a 3-0 win over Rio Ave at the weekend, scoring a hat trick, and has been a key figure in the club’s great form, as they currently sit fifth in the Liga NOS.

Tottenham and Southampton fans will once again notice that the two clubs are following the same player, a situation which has repeatedly been the case since Mauricio Pochettino made the move to White Hart Lane.
