Saturday’s edition of L’Equipe has a feature on the future of Tanguy Ndombele.

The Lyon midfielder is thought to be up for a transfer this summer, and his own club haven’t been hiding away from that. Jean-Michel Aulas, who Liverpool fans will know well from the Nabil Fekir saga, has spoken more than once about a possible exit and made it clear he won’t rule out selling to PSG this summer.

Manchester United interest gets a mention, and then it’s stated that in the run up to the summer window, other clubs could see their interest rise.

Liverpool are said to have ‘taken the pulse’ on the signing. That probably means finding out if the midfielder will move and working out how much a deal would cost.

Interest from Jurgen Klopp’s side isn’t presented as serious at this stage, and it’s made clear Liverpool would have to sell one or two players first, if only to make room for Ndombele in their side.
