Paris-Saint Germain’s Presnel Kimpembe has been enjoying some regular playing time this season, after the departure of David Luiz.

That has prompted the Ligue 1 giants to try and secure his future at the club, but that hasn’t been easy.

Kimpembe’s current deal expires in 2018, and the 21-year-old has already rejected tha contract offer twice, reports RMC Sport.

The French defender insisted on meeting Paris-Saint Germain’s president Nasser al-Khelaïfi, last month, but has refused offers worth €130,000/month and €150,000/month.

Kimpembe reported wants €250,000/month, which is the similar to what Adrien Rabiot is earning at the club.

RMC Sport say negotiations are proving to be very difficult and Unai Emery hasn’t been able to use the player since the Ligue 1 match against Nancy on October 15, when he played as a left back.

Reports have earlier suggested Chelsea tried signing Kimpembe in the summer, whilst Jurgen Klopp is also keen on bringing him to Anfield.

In October Le Parisien newspaper reported that Liverpool were very keen on a deal, and Klopp’s wish to recruit the best young talent would be behind the idea.

Paris-Saint Germain will be hoping to reach to an agreement soon, because the Premier League clubs won’t hesitate in a making a move should they see an opportunity.
