Yesterday it was Nantes, today it’s Nice. The French press can’t get enough of where Mario Balotelli could end up, as a move to Italy seems to growing more distant by the day.
Linked with a move to Bologna or Lazio, the Liverpool striker is now being passed around French clubs.
France Football on Wednesday reported the player was offered to Nantes, and on Thursday, it’s Goal’s turn to chip in, saying the player could end up at Nice in the south of France.
Loic Tanzi, a journalist for the French version of the football website, reported on his Twitter the controversial striker would be travelling to the beachside town to hold talks with the Ligue 1 side’s board regarding a potential move.

He also says this story was also worked on by Melissa Reddy, Goal’s Liverpool correspondent for all 39 of their websites, suggesting this could be coming straight from the Merseyside club itself.
We’ll have to wait and see if this one actually happens, and it could end up just being unsuccessful talks if Balotelli’s demands are too high for the French club.
One thing likely certain, though, Mino Raiola has turned to France to get his client a move after failed attempts in Italy.
