In their Wednesday edition, Marca weighed up the possibility of Barcelona signing two of their targets. Being two Premier League stars, Hector Bellerin and Philippe Coutinho would be very costly indeed, which is considered a barrier in the way of either potential summer transfer.
Arsenal and Liverpool aren’t in a mood to sell, so Barcelona need to look at the positivies they can work on to try and build a transfer. Marca do a little of the work for them and have pros and cons for both Bellerin and Coutinho.
They sound slightly more optimistic about the chances of signing Coutinho from Liverpool, saying the Brazilian is looking ‘for a change of air’ and would be up for the move.
Bellerin’s future is completely wrapped around Arsene Wenger, with it being assumed he’ll stay at Arsenal this summer as long as the Frenchman doesn’t go anywhere.
Whilst Coutinho may be keener on a move, he’d likely be more expensive. Basically, Barcelona would be fortunate to get either.
