Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho is in such good form at the moment that links with Barcelona and Real Madrid don’t seem out of place. That may be a negative which comes when a South American excels, but there’s no real sign of an exit being on the cards.
Coutinho appears very happy at Liverpool, and playing under manager Jurgen Klopp, and that shows clearly on the pitch. Content with his teammates, and with good understandings around him, Coutinho is able to shine.
Once again the Brazilian managed to excel at the weekend, as Liverpool beat Watford 6-1. Coutinho scored a goal and put in an impressive all round performance.
Gazzetta dello Sport have included the Liverpool player in their European Team of the Week, published on Monday. Each week the Italian newspaper pick a selection of the best players from leagues around Europe, and Coutinho got the nod.
It’s not the first time the Liverpool player has been in the selection so far this season, and it’s unlikely to be the last.
