Anyone who watched last season’s Champions League will be fully aware of how good for and important he is to Inter Milan, and therefore why Liverpool would be interested in him.
It’s said those in charge of transfer matters at Inter are ‘intensifying their efforts’ to prevent Barella from being lured to England’s first-tier.
The Italy midfielder has made it clear in the past that he is very happy where he is, but everyone knows money talks and the idea of playing for an iconic club like Liverpool could certainly be appealing.
We’ll keep an eye on this one, but this certainly wouldn’t be the first time the Reds take a look at the 27-year-old, who has been on the books of many Premier League clubs over the years.
