Liverpool could face competition from Bayern Munich for midfielder Florian Neuhaus if they make a move for him this summer.
That’s according to SportBILD, who say the Neuhaus is also ‘on the list’ at the Bundesliga giants.
Neuhaus has been in impressive form for Borussia Monchengladbach this season, and that has earned him plenty of attention, particularly from the Premier League.
Liverpool have been named as suitors on more than one occasion, with it stated last month that they had ‘expressed interest’ in a €40m deal.
That was followed up by a claim later in February that the player was keen on the move, and Bayern Munich were unlikely to make a move this summer.
That was a major boost for Liverpool, but it appears things have changed, with SportBILD now reporting that he is ‘on the list’ at Bayern.
That would suggest they remain keen on him despite reports; otherwise, there would be little point in keeping an eye on him.
Of course, that is not saying that they will make a move for him or even intend to, but the interest is still apparently there, and that would be a problem for Liverpool if they are to try and sign him this summer.
