Liverpool are one of a number of clubs who have ‘renewed’ their efforts to sign Adrien Rabiot from PSG, report Paris United on Sunday morning.

The midfielder’s contract with PSG expires in the summer and he’s been ostracised for refusing to sign a renewal.

Thomas Tuchel would like to be able to pick the Frenchman, and has made that clear publicly, but is being blocked by those above him who want to punish Rabiot and send out a warning.

Paris United say Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham are all renewing efforts on the deal, and they have an interesting line about how Rabiot has seen a potential move to the Premier League.

It’s claimed the footballer has previously imagined that if he moved to English football, it would be to sign for Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool.

That would give the Reds an advantage if they’re prepared to match the efforts of others in the race.

PSG would prefer a sale before the window closes to avoid a free transfer.
