Dejan Lovren is a possibility for Lazio, ahead of the next transfer window, with Arsenal and Tottenham also brought into the equation.
That’s according to claims coming from Italy on Sunday. La Lazio Siamo Noi, who specialise in their local club, explain a central defender is required.
They want someone experienced, specifically in the Champions League, and the Liverpool defender has been picked out.
According to the report, Lovren’s name has moved to the Lazio transfer agenda ‘in recent hours’. That’s clearly a figure of speech, with there being more important things going on elsewhere.
Lovren’s contract with Liverpool lasts until the end of June 2021, and it’s explained a renewal with the Reds seems complicated at this stage.
Given that, an Anfield exit is considered to be on the cards for the summer, and it’s even stated Liverpool have put a €20m asking price on the 30 year old.
Arsenal and Tottenham have also been dragged into the situation, with Spurs interest seeming the likelier of the pair.
