Fanatik report Besiktas could continue with Loris Karius beyond this season despite initial reports he will be returning to Liverpool this summer.

Karius is currently on loan with the Istanbul club but there have been clams they want to cut short his two year deal. Recent reports from Turkey claimed Besiktas are looking for ways to cancel Karius’ contract.

However, the German goalkeeper was impressive during Besiktas’ win against league leaders Basaksehir last weekend, with the Liverpool loanee making some important saves

According to Fanatik, Besiktas players were happy for Karius at the end of the game and the Turkish newspaper says the goalkeeper is returning to form.

It’s claimed Besiktas could continue with Karius if the club secures 2nd place and qualifies for next season’s Champions League.

The Liverpool man reportedly had some doubts about Besiktas (probably because his wages weren’t paid) but the 25 year old has now decided to focus on the remaining matches, and then he will make a decision at the end of the season.
