Mohamed Salah continues to underline his status as one of the signings of the summer. Arriving from AS Roma after protracted Liverpool efforts, Salah was determined to succeed.

Having been very happy in the Italian capital, and with the Serie A club, there was no point in changing all of that if not to see his star rise even further and very quickly.

Salah played a big part in Liverpool taking West Ham to pieces at the weekend, with 2 goals in a Man of the Match performance. Jurgen Klopp’s men took all the points with a 4-2 victory, and the table is starting to look a little better for them.

Seven Premier League goals from Salah help that, and he’s also added 4 in the Champions League.

The Egyptian’s performance has been recognised by Gazzetta dello Sport, with the newspaper naming Salah in their European Team of the Week. Each week Gazzetta pick a selection from around Europe, ignoring their own Serie A, and the Liverpool’s player’s efforts against West Ham have been noted.

Salah is in a front three along with Paco Alcacer and Edinson Cavani, and the Liverpool star is one of three Premier League players to make the list.
