Liverpool are one of the ‘interested clubs’ for Red Bull Salzburg youngster Benjamin Sesko, who has been labelled a ‘dream’ by his current manager.
18-year-old Sesko has been in solid form for Salzburg this season, with a tally of seven goals and seven assists in 25 games in all competitions.
He’s quickly building up a solid reputation for himself, with those numbers building on an impressive campaign on loan with Liefering in the 2.Bundesliga last year.
That saw him scoring 21 goals and registering six assists in 30 games in all competitions, the kind of numbers that haven’t gone unnoticed.
SportBILD now report that there are several ‘interested clubs’ in the 18-year-old, naming the likes of Bayern Munich, Hertha Berlin, Tottenham, Lazio and Liverpool in particular.
Now, they make no mention of any of the clubs having made a move as yet, just that they are interested in him and keeping an eye on his development.
That suggests a move to Liverpool isn’t in the offing as yet, but should they ever move for him, his current manager insists they’d be getting a ‘dream’ player.
“I’ve also known him since the U18s,” Matthias Jaissle said.
“He is a very complete striker. You would dream of his assets as a coach: he is fast, tall, technically good.
“He has to bring his potential onto the pitch consistently. But he still has some time; he’s only been with us since summer.”
