As it becomes more and more possible that Liverpool will make a big investment in reinforcements next year, we continue to see them linked to one of the strongest names in the market.

That’s Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham, who, according to Sky Sports Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg, is now a ‘main target’ for the Reds.

On Twitter, it’s reported that with Liverpool willing to invest in their squad next summer, Jurgen Klopp is currently ‘pushing’ for the Bundesliga star to be signed.

It’s said Liverpool are actually ‘very optimistic’ about landing the 21-year-old, as they expect him to cost ‘€100m + x’, probably referring to variables in the deal and the inclusion of a player.

There’s obviously some competition for Bellingham, but that doesn’t seem to be a problem for the Reds. Firstly, because it’s said Manchester United’s chances of landing him are ‘low’, as they’d find difficulty to fight others in the race.

Then it’s also said that Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint Germain have ‘hardly any chances’. So that’s more than reasons to make Liverpool look good in this battle.
