Turkish newspaper Aksam report Super Lig club Goztepe are interested in Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius.
The German goalkeeper terminated his contract with Besiktas in April after sending an ultimatum to the club’s board over unpaid wages.
Aksam claim Goztepe are in the market for a new goalkeeper for next season, and they could make a loan offer to Liverpool for Karius.
It’s claimed the player won’t be at Anfield next season and that the Premier League club are open to offers for the player. With Alisson firmly established as Jurgen Klopp’s No.1, he’d find it difficult to get games, and could even end up third choice.
After a up and down spell at Besiktas, it seems the German goalkeeper needs to find himself a new club this summer, and a return to Turkey could be a possibility.
Karius has also been linked with a return to the Bundesliga in recent months, with claims Hertha Berlin are seriously interested in his services.
The former Mainz goalkeeper still has two years left on his Liverpool contract.
