Earlier on Wednesday we covered Mundo Deportivo’s claims that Liverpool have submitted a ‘great offer’ to sign Theo Hernandez from Atletico Madrid. Spending the year on loan at Alaves from Atletico Madrid, Theo has impressed enough to have a string of top clubs chasing him.
Liverpool were said to be prepared to go very high with their wages offer, and this is something which would be taken into account by the young Spaniard. Jurgen Klopp would certainly have to convince Liverpool to put forward a big financial package, given there’s also interest from Barcelona, Real Madrid, PSG, and Bayern Munich.
The transfer fee is simple: A €24m clause.
Sport also report on Wednesday that Liverpool have put an offer on the table, and that the player is set to speak to his representative soon.
Wages are once again said to be an important factor for Theo as he chooses which club to join in the summer window.
