Lazar Markovic, remember him? The Liverpool foward may not have featured for the Reds this season, but believe it or not, he’s still part of the club.
After three loans, the player returned to Anfield when the spell at Hull City expired last summer. But he wasn’t sent somewhere else this time, and six months into the season, he still hasn’t played for the Merseyside club either.
So it’s no big surprise to read the news today saying Liverpool are looking for pretenders who still want to take Lazar Markovic this month.
According to Tutto Mercato Web, three sides have showed up with interest, which would be Lokomotiv Moscow, Espanyol and Anderlecht.
These clubs reportedly made approaches, but there’s still no information if they would like a loan deal or a permanent move.
Markovic’s contract with Liverpool only expires next year, and it looks like the Reds can’t wait to get rid of him.
