Liverpool and Newcastle United are in the picture to sign Adrien Rabiot, according to a report from Italy.

The France international is now without a club as his deal with Juventus expired on June 30th. He hasn’t yet agreed to the renewal offer proposed by the Old Lady, allowing other clubs to sign him in the summer.

This includes Liverpool and Newcastle, and Calciomercato claim the Premier League duo have ‘already made moves’ to secure his services.

As well as the Reds and Eddie Howe’s side, Milan have made contact for the 29-year-old. They could have offered a deal worth up to €7m per year, but the negotiations didn’t progress as the Rossoneri found his salary request to be high.

Rabiot, who has been approached by Liverpool and Newcastle, dreams of joining Real Madrid this summer.

Calciomercato.it also talk about Milan’s approach to sign the former PSG man. They add the Turin club haven’t given up, while Liverpool are one of the English clubs chasing him.

It’s further claimed Arne Slot’s side are ‘ready to break the bank’ to sign the Frenchman this summer.

Rabiot is part of the France squad who have made it to the last eight of the Euros. There should be more clarity after his national team’s campaign in Germany.
