Anderson Taslica and a Premier League move: here’s a love affair that simply won’t disappear.
Much linked to Liverpool and Manchester United in the past couple of years, the Brazilian midfielder is currently playing for Besiktas, where he’s loaned from Benfica.
Now as widely covered in the past couple of days, scouts from Jurgen Klopp’s side have reportedly watched the player on Tuesday, when he faced Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
The claims were originally made by website Turkish Football, and it only got covered by the Portuguese press today, along with more news about the midfielder.
In a mix of information from the Portuguese and Turkish press, what A Bola has to say today is that Besiktas are trying to keep the 24-year-old, but for an amount below the buying option.
The current offer would be to sign him permanently for €20m, with 10% of a future sale for Benfica. This is just €5m less than the buying option in the player’s contract.
All Liverpool would need to do is to make a decent offer and land him, as Benfica seem very keen on selling.
But with Besiktas’ terrible performance against Bayern, the Reds’ scouts may not have had a good chance to be impressed with Talisca.
