Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mané and Roberto Firmino have led Liverpool’s attack over the past few years and the position was strengthened in the summer following the arrival of Diogo Jota from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The Reds are now looking at Juventus’ Paulo Dybala, if a report from AS is to believed.
It’s claimed the 27-year-old is on the radar of the English champions and Paris Saint-Germain.
PSG have identified Lionel Messi as their priority target and if they fail to sign the Barcelona superstar, the Ligue 1 winners will turn their attention towards Dybala.
The Serie A player has several other suitors, particularly from the Premier League, and that’s when Liverpool are mentioned. According to the report, Jürgen Klopp’s side have been in touch with the entourage of the Argentina international.
Dybala has seen his first team minutes under Andrea Pirlo limited and he hasn’t been convincing whenever given opportunities. The South American is yet to score a goal and has only one assist from 10 matches in all competitions this season.
AS also states the player is ‘looking for a way out’, suggesting he’s open to the idea of leaving the Serie A giants.
Reports from Italy have claimed Juventus have put Dybala’s contract talks on hold. The likes of Liverpool and other clubs being used by the player’s entourage to get a better deal at the Turin club cannot be ruled out.
