Earlier this month, reports coming out of Italian sports media explained Liverpool and Manchester United are interesed in Gleison Bremer.

It was even stated the Torino player has been in Jürgen Klopp’s sights for a ‘long time’.

Operating in the heart of defence, the 24-year-old has been a key figure for the past few seasons, despite the managerial changes at the Italian club.

The Brazilian’s current deal runs down in 2023 and next summer will be Torino’s last big chance to earn from a potential sale. They, however, have plans to extend his contract.

That’s according to TuttoMercatoWeb, who explain that Torino chairman Urbano Cairo will have to ‘put a nice offer on the table’ for the defender to say ‘yes’ to a new contract. His current deal includes a salary of €500,000, likely per season.

It’s said the centre-back’s valuation is around €25m and big clubs are ‘starting to observe’ him ‘carefully’. From Italy, Juventus and Napoli have started to ‘closely monitor’ how Bremer’s renewal talks with Torino would evolve.

From abroad, Liverpool are the ‘most active’ side, for the South American. In the coming months, Torino will make efforts to speed up the renewal process, as Bremer continues to be a vital player under Ivan Jurić for the Italian club.
