Now that the January transfer window is shut, clubs will already be thinking about their summer transfers, when players are more readily available.
Juventus focused on the future with the signings of Mattia Caldara and Riccardo Orsolini this winter, as well as bolstering their midfield with Genoa’s Tomás Rincón, an area they will continue to improve next summer, as explained by Corriere dello Sport.
The Italian newspaper look at who the Serie A champions will target from June onwards, and one of the midfielders on the list is Liverpool’s Emre Can.
A vital part of Jurgen Klopp’s side this season, the 23-year-old has made 25 appearances for Liverpool, scoring three goals and getting two assists.
Can isn’t the only one on their list for the midfield position, however, as Juventus are also following Borussia Mönchengladbach’s Mahmoud Dahoud, a reported Liverpool target.
There were rumours Klopp could go for Dahoud in January, but we all know that never happened, with a move in the summer likelier.
Our bet, though, will be that Juventus will go after Lyon’s Corentin Tolisso, whom they bid for this transfer window.
