Liverpool striker Divock Origi has been ‘proposed’ to Inter Milan this month after deciding he needs to leave Anfield.
That’s according to FC Inter News, who say the Belgian is one of two strikers who have been offered to the Italian champions this month.
The website explains that Nerazzurri’s management’s plan is to reinforce their forward line in the summer, and they are eyeing Giacomo Raspadori and Gianluca Scamacca in that regard.
However, their plan could change if an ‘alternative opportunity’ presents itself to them in the meantime, particularly someone who could arrive on the cheap, preferably free.
In that sense, two options have been proposed to them in the last few days, and one of those is Liverpool striker Origi. It’s though he has decided to leave Liverpool and ‘would aspire’ to join Inter Milan.
At this moment in time, Inter have not taken the bait, and there is no negotiation with either him or Andrea Belotti, who is the other striker to be offered.
The Serie A champions are just taking note of the ‘various abilities’ at this moment in time and are taking ‘into consideration’ every possible solution.
They’re accustomed to being offered players via agents and intermediaries, so this is nothing new, and the Liverpool man is the latest to be presented to them.
