On January 27th, Rome based newspaper Il Tempo had an article on the greats sales at AS Roma.
Several players were said to be available before the close of the January, and an offer from Liverpool for Alisson Becker was claimed.
Unfortunately for Jurgen Klopp, Alisson wasn’t one of the player’s available and Liverpool’s desire to sign the Brazilian goalkeeper, which has now been claimed for a while, will have to wait until the summer.
A move in the summer is considered possible for the 25 year old, but Liverpool may find competition, at least if Mundo Deportivo are to be believed.
On Thursday they claim Real Madrid are looking at the player, considering him to take over as first choice from Keylor Navas.
Should Real Madrid actually go in with an attempt, it’s obviously going to be hard for Liverpool to compete.
However, Mundo Deportivo are a Catalan newspaper and they seem to like linking a whole list of goalkeepers with Madrid, largely so they can then portray a failure from the club to recruit them.
