According to Bein Sports Turkey’s Besiktas journalist Gurler Akgun, Liverpool could be  ready to offer €15m to the Super Lig club for the signature of Dorukhan Tokoz.

He also says Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has been monitoring the player and is keen to bring in the Turkey international during this transfer window.

Yesterday we covered claims from TRT Spor which said the Premier League club are keeping tabs on the 23 year old and have been scouting him for the past 3 months.

Liverpool should expect to face competition from Arsenal who have also been linked with the Besiktas man in the past week.

It’s currently unclear what Besiktas’ plans are for the central midfielder, but considering they have financial problems selling Dorukhan could ease some pressure on the club.

Tokoz made the breakthrough with the Istanbul club last season after arriving from Eskisehirspor 12 months ago. He quickly established himself as a key player in the team and has also established himself with the Turkish national side.

Tokoz is under contract with Besiktas until June 2021.

Claims like this are frequent from Turkey, time will tell if this one has anything in it.
