In the first week of last month, TuttoMercatoWeb reported Wolverhampton Wanderers were pushing ahead of Arsenal for Dejan Kulusevski, who is on loan at Parma from Atalanta.
On November 28th, the same website explained Wolves and Southampton were ruled out of the race for the 19-year-old because of competition from the likes of Inter Milan, Juventus, Arsenal and Manchester United.
FcInterNews now adds another to the list of Premier League clubs chasing the midfielder: Liverpool.
The Sweden international played the full 90 minutes for Parma in their 1-0 defeat to AC Milan on Sunday and a Reds scout was in attendance to watch the youngster in action.
It’s claimed Liverpool and Juventus would like to immediately secure Kulusevski’s transfer for next summer before his asking price starts to rise. However, the report doesn’t indicate if either side have submitted an offer so far.
Meanwhile, the report also states United submitted a €25m bid for Kulusevski, but Atalanta president Antonio Percassi turned it down because he requires at least €35m.
Kulusevski has three goals and five assists in 14 league appearances for Parma this season.
