Liverpool and Tottenham are both reportedly ready to join Juventus in the race for the Ivorian midfielder Franck Kessié.
According to exclusive claims from Calcio Mercato It, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has been impressed with the player’s performances and told the club to make a bid for him.
Liverpool would offer something between €20m and €25m. That’s not good news for Juventus, who would only go as far as €15m. That figure seems to be a favourite one for Juve right now, with them also wanting to pay it for Steven N’Zonzi.
The Old Lady reportedly have an agreement with Atalanta for priority in any transfer talks. But if they don’t make an acceptable move soon, Kessié would start listening to other offers.
Although Tottenham’s name is mentioned, and the club have already been linked to Kessié a few times, Calcio Mercato It don’t seem to have any detail on the Spurs interest. This time around they’re far keener to link Klopp and Liverpool.
Atalanta’s wish would be to keep the player until the end of the season, so this would be one more factor to be negotiated.
