PSV Eindhoven striker Donyell Malen is a potential target for Liverpool in the summer transfer window.
That’s according to Calciomercato, who say the forward is ‘liked’ by Liverpool and AC Milan after his impressive performances this season.
Malen has hit top form for the Dutch side again this season, having battled back from an injury that saw him struggle last season.
He has 14 goals and six assists in 23 games in the Eredivisie this season, a tally that rises to 22 and eight, including the Europa League and Toto KNVB Beker.
His form has attracted interest from around Europe, with it claimed back in January that he’s a potential target for Borussia Dortmund if Jadon Sancho is to depart.
They are not the only club keen, though, with AC Milan also having been named as an interested party in Italy.
Liverpool can now be added to that mix, with Calciomercato saying the 22-year-old is ‘liked’ by the Premier League champions.
That is all they offer on the Reds apparent interest, failing to mention whether Klopp and co have made a move as yet. In fact, they fail to offer any real details beyond saying Liverpool like him.
That means this is one to put firmly to one side at the moment, although if Mohamed Salah continues to look forward and talk about a move to Spain, perhaps we’ll see this pick up pace.
